Satellite TV transmit signals through the air.
A phone pine transmit through wires. This shouldn't be mistaken for cell phone or wireless phones.
Internet Access could be attained through satellite (wireless) or line phone. A line phone is usually a dial-up.
Since Wireless (satellite) transmit through the air, do not require wires... But Companies do need cords to connect to ports or hot points. Hot points are where wireless phones/cell phones pick up signals.
